BAKER TO VEGAS 2016 RACE PLAN

Runner Van 1/Support

Leg #1 – Anthony Alonzo                                           

Leg #2 – Dave Duncan                                   

Leg #3 – Scott Dibble

Support Team #1: Legs 1-5 Sunday Arriaga/Norma Arriaga

8:00 AM – Runners and Support Teams leave Vegas. Anthony, Scott and Anne will drive Van #1 to the start of the course. Sunday and Norma will drive the Black and White Mercedes to the start of the course and the vehicle will remain on the course throughout the entire race as the Catcher Vehicle. Sunday and Norma will drive the Mercedes for legs #1 through #6. When Dibble completes Leg #3 Runner Van #1 will return back to TI Hotel and provide the key to Van #1 to Micaela Garland for return to the course.  

Runner Van 2

Leg #4 –Casey Tom

Leg #5 –Dave Tomlin

Leg #6-Freddie Eudave

Runner Van #2 leaves Vegas at 10:00 AM and arrives to leg #4 by 12:00 PM. The Runner Van will be responsible for leaving and arriving at each of the following legs with time for the runner to check in. Upon completion of Leg #6 the Runner Van #2 will return to Vegas with Sunday and Norma Arriaga. When you arrive back to TI Hotel provide the key to Van #2 to Jeff Schmidt for return to the course.  

Van#3 will be driven by Cora. Cora will drive with Yamada and Julian to leg #6 where they will relieve Sunday and Norma as catchers for legs 6-12. Cora will then relieve Irwin and Phil in the follow van. Sunday and Phil will return with Van #3 to TI Hotel and provide Van #3 to Robert Redding and Michelle Fieler for return to the course.

Runner Van 4/Support

Leg #7-Alex Kale

Leg #8-Eric Bender

Leg #9-Ryan Lawrence

Runner Van 5

Leg #10-Nick Dimento

Leg #11-Bryan Horst

Leg #12-Tyler Blondi

Runner Van #5 will leave Vegas at 3:30 PM and arrive to leg #10 at 5:15 PM and drop off Horst. The remaining runners will be responsible to arrive at the following legs in order to check in. Support Team #2 will be responsible for catching the runners through leg #12.

Runner Van 6

Leg #13-Dan Tanner

Leg #14-Joel Givens

Leg#15-Dale Drummond

Leg #16-Tyler Diamond

Runner Van #6 will leave Vegas at 6:00 PM and arrive to leg #13 at 7:30 PM. Runner Van #5 will have Support Team 3 in the same van. Runner Van 5 will have the parking placard for stage #16. Only one vehicle for each team is allowed to park at leg #16 so Van #6 will catch Drummond when he completes leg #15 and they will drop off Diamond for his run on leg #16. After Diamond has started leg #16 Van #6 will return to Vegas.

Runner Van 2/Support

Leg #17-Jeff Schmidt

Leg #18-Josh Cudworth

Leg #19-Anne Lunsman

Leg #20 Dave Armour

Support Team Van #3

Michelle Fieler/Robert Redding/Micaela Garland/Jackie Garland

Runner Van #2 will be driven by Schmidt and will leave Vegas at 11:30 and arrive to leg #17 at 12:15 AM. Micaela and Jackie will drive Van #1 to relieve the Follow-Van during leg #16 and Clara and Unice will return to TI Hotel in Van #1 after being relieved by Micaela and Jackie. Michelle and Robert will drive Van #3 to leg #17 and catch Diamond when he completes leg #16 and continue catching through leg #19 (Lunsman). When Lunsman completes leg #19 Robert and Michelle will return to TI Hotel. Armour will run leg #20 and does not require a catcher. Micaela and Jackie will pick up Armour after the completion of the race and return back to TI Hotel.
